Snorkel the Blue Hole, ride a camel and go bargain shopping in Dahab on our day trip from Sharm el Sheikh. If your time in Egypt is limited, this is the relaxing day tour you are looking for! You'll travel across the desert, dive the Red Sea and visit a typical Bedouin village. Start your day with a two-hour jeep safari from Sharm el Sheikh. Along the way, keep your eyes open for the local wildlife, including Nubian ibex, red foxes and striped hyenas. Then it's time to snorkel the reef gardens of the Blue Hole, arguably Egypt's most famous dive spot. You will have around 45 minutes of snorkeling time. Then dry off with a camel ride through the Egyptian desert before enjoying a traditional Bedouin lunch. The camel ride lasts for approximately 45 minutes. In the afternoon, you'll travel to the Bedouin village of Dahab for some shopping. Here you will find a large selection of souvenirs such as papyrus prints, brass lamps, jewelry, perfumes, leathers and inlaid boxes, all at prices generally cheaper than in Sharm el Sheikh. You will have 45 minutes to an hour to search out some bargains. Please note the order of the activities is subject to change as required by local conditions.

Whether it's your first time to breathe underwater or you're an experienced diver, Scuba Diving is definitely the number one activity in Sharm el Sheik. Wreck, Tech, drift or fish - there is an experience waiting for you. If you have never tried diving, give it a shot and add a little something new to your holiday plans.
Golf
Imagine yourself surrounded by the Sinai Mountains and the glorious Red Sea, leaning over the ball on the eighteenth hole, anticipating a cold beer on the 19th and watching the sun go down. Sharm el Sheik hosts a beautiful 18-hole golf course situated at the Movenpick Golf. The course is 6021 yards and graded as a par 72. Outside guests are welcome; however, we recommend a reservation. Golf lessons available upon request and karts can be rented in the golf shop. If you just want to hit a few balls - the driving range is waiting for you.
Water Skiing or Wakeboarding
If your fancy is more above the waves than under, check out the opportunities for water skiing or wakeboarding. Ten kilometers south of Na'ama Bay is Sharm el Maya is a protected bay with the perfect conditions for skiing. Give wakeboarding a try for fun. You can even take a lesson. Try your luck and attempt to jump through the wake turning 80 degrees. Sun & Fun are located on the beach at Iberotel Palace hotel. Banana rides and inter-tube rides are also available.
Bungee catapult
Not for the faint hearted, but still ten minutes of guaranteed adrenalin pumping action - plus an amazing view. The giant catapult is situated in the Na'ama Bay parking lot next to the Na'ama Bay Hotel. It's very simple; you are strapped into a seat in an open sphere cage, which is attached to two elastic cables. 3, 2, 1 and blast off, you are bungeed skywards.
Go Kart Racing
If you feel the need for speed, but not of the skyward variety, then check out go karting. It's not just for kids! Ghibli Raceway is a professional go-kart center, with four challenging circuits in one, built to FIA standards. As a competitor you are given racing overalls, a cotton balaclava and a full-face helmet. The raceway is situated on the airport road just outside Na'ama Bay next to Sofitel and the Hyatt hotel.
Horseback Riding
If you are an early bird and love horses, then take the opportunity to go on a sunrise trip out in the desert or along the beach. There are a couple of stables offering excursion rides. There is nothing nicer than being on horseback in the peaceful desert at dawn, while it is still cool and enjoyable. If dawn is not your thing then there are also sunset rides. Just be honest and let the guide know if you are a novice or experienced, so you are ensured a suitable horse and pace. Concorde Hotel and Sofitel just outside Na'ama Bay have a well run and profession operations and the horses are well looked after. Most rides vary from one to two hours.
Quad runners
Taking a cruise on a quad runner is a fun, fast activity and a great way of getting out into the desert. There are quite a few companies offering these rides and most of them can be found on the desert side of the main road running through Na'ama Bay. There are sunrise and sunset trips as well as daylong excursions (be careful of the day temps. in the summer months). Whatever time you decide to become a desert biker then a good tip is to bring a "Kofeya" or headdress as there is a lot of dust and sand driven up by the quads and it can be a bit rough on the hair, face and eyes.
Ice Skating
Believe it or not there is an ice rink in Sharm el Sheik. It is real ice, so it's really cool, making it a pleasant way to escape the heat during the day. There is also a snack bar and a few seating areas for you to rest. The rink is situated in the sporting area of the Concorde Hotel on the airport road north of Na'ama bay.
