Is there any buses going from Alexandria directly to St. Katherine's Monastery?
We are planning on leaving on a thursday and returning on a saturday. We would like to get to Mt. Sinai by 9pm on thursday and make it up the mountain in time to see the sun rise. We would also like to head to Sharm after that and do some snorkling or diving. Is it possible to get a diving license in a few hour class? Most of all I would appreciate the information on any buses, not tour buses, that go directly from Alexandria or from Cairo to Mt. Sinai.
