Beach holiday resort in Croatia? Any recommendations........?
I'm looking for recommendations for a beach holiday in Croatia. I'm going with my girlfriend so would like the best of both worlds - quietish during the day but lively enough at night to enjoy the atmosphere, bars and restaurants. She likes scuba diving so that would be a bonus, but not essential. Thanks.
I visited Dubrovnik last year and dragged my scuba gear with me to dive the island Vis but the water temperature never got above 55 degrees and I don't dive dry so that was out.
I asked around about the diving prior to going and then when I got there and was told there wasn't much to see but there ARE dive shops most anywhere you go.
I also stayed at the most fabulous hotel I believe I've ever been to. It was called the Hotel Bellevue and my room had french doors that opened out onto the Adriatic, it was sublime.
If you get tired of the rather bland food from that region the room service is amazing.
It was very peaceful and quiet during the day and then busy but not overly crowded or loud in the evening and the people are so friendly.
I loved Croatia and would love to keep it as my own little secret but it's just too fabulous!
