Are small dive knives allowed in checked baggage on Amtrak?
I am going on a cruise later this year and am considering my options to get to Miami. I plan to go Scuba Diving while at a port of call and wanted to take a small dive knife with me so I know I will have something reliable to use if the unfortunate happens. I know the cruise line doesn't have an issue with it, so I am wondering if Amtrak does. Any help you can give would be most appreciated.
You should really contact Amtrak.
Generally speaking - as long your dive knife is part of the checked in baggage you should be OK. Airlines allow me to take my Dive Knife in Checked bags. Cannot have it in your carry on
