The great barrier reef?

So me and my family are planning on taking a trip to AUssie, now are there sharks in the Great Barrier reef for scuba diving? What sea life can you see there? Any further info or additional comments would be great.

Yes there are sharks but it is very unlikely for them to do anything to you. There will also be staff on hand so if anything happens(which it almost definitely won't happen) they can handle it. If you or someone in your family is really scared you could always go on a boat with a glass bottom. The marine life in the Great Barrier reef is amazing.

In that part of Queensland you should always be careful. There are crocodiles so if you see a crocodile or a sign take caution and don't stand close to the edge of the water because crocodile can jump out of the water and drag you in. There are also deadly box jellyfish and brown snakes. So be careful and don't go through thick grass or bush lands or swim on beaches without lifeguard. And you probably know this but always swim between the red and yellow flags :)

Hope you enjoy your trip,
Have fun!
