Where is the best scuba diving locations that is fairly easily accessibly from Madrid by plane, train, etc?
I was looking at Lanzarote and Cabo de Gata, Spain.
You can get pretty much anywhere in Spain from Madrid. See, as the central city of the country, and the capital, it's a rather large transportation hub.
Cabo de Gata, as I understand it, isn't easily accessible from anywhere, hence its unspoiled beauty, and Lanzarote, being an island in the Atlantic, is pretty far from anything, but easily accessible by airplane.
You can get from Madrid to anywhere, though, but Madrid is about as FAR from any of the coasts as any part of the country...again, it's in the middle of the land mass. Takes about three hours by train to get from Madrid to the southern coast.
