My fiance and I are wanting to plan a Cairns, Australia beach wedding and would like to know when the best time to go would be, weather wise, to be able to go scuba diving and spend time on the beach. And also what's best price wise, yet still during the warm season? And for a general question...what is Cairns the best option for a wedding along the Great Barrier Reef? Is there another option that we should be looking into? Dunk Island? Thanks everyone!
Anytime between April and September will be ideal for you. This is the dryseason and the weather will be warm and glorious the humidity could still be high in April as it's the start of the dry season and come september its near the start of the wet season they call it the build up which can be getting humid again then. http://www.weddingeye.com.au/

I know someone that chose Palm Cove to marry and they where very happy Cairns is not a good beach area there are crocs in the harbour but its a good area for getting a tour to the reef from as many different tours leave from there.
