is it still worth seeing the great barrier reef?
I heard it's dying off and is no where near as beautiful as it once was? i'd love to scuba dive there but what do you guys think?
If your going to travel past that area of course however personally I found the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia a 100 times more beautiful. You didn't even need to scuba as the fish were just right there from the moment you stepped in the water (also you didn't need to spend an hour getting sea sick on a boat to get out to the good stuff) and so few people compared to the Barrier Reef. Truly a must see.
