what is the best hotel to stay at in Cairns, Australia if I want to dive and only have two days there?

There is a cluster of international standard hotels around the Esplanade area...I'd recommend the Raddison which is right near the action on the wharf.....just a couple of minutes walk & you'll be on the boat out to the reef .
