what would you say is the best place to scuba dive in the world? - and no it aint the red sea!?
deep dives/wrecks and big fish are a must in you answer
I would offer four areas:
a) Micronesia. You could do Truk/Chuuk (great WW II wrecks from operation hail stone) as probably the best wreck area in the world. Sharks and other stuff in Palau. And end on Yap doing Manta Rays (and stone money on the land).
b) Cocos Island (off Costa Rica) during hammerhead schooling. No wrecks but...)
c) Galapagos. Again, no wrecks but...
d) Bikini would also be worth checking out as a wreck site. Not nearly as radioactive as it was...
