In the North the Great Himalayan Range covers the Indian continent. India is also having two groups of Islands In the bay Bengal and Arabian Sea. India is the 12th largest economy of the world and 4th largest purchasing power in the world. India is one of the fastest growing economy having economic growth of 8% and above .The name India is derived from the word Indus and Northern part of undivided India was known for Indus valley civilization though most part of it has gone to Pakistan after partition of India in 1947.
