what 's the importance of the great barrier reef to australia?
The great barrier reef is one of the 7 natural wonders of the word and is heritage listed by the Australian government,it is a source of millions of tourist dollars and home to some of Australia's unique marine animals,it is also a source of pride to most Australian's in knowing our country has such a remarkable place.
personally,after i scuba dived on the reef last year i realised what a beautiful and amazing place,and i can't wait to dive up there again some day-it was awesome
