Bali 2011- Where are good places to throughout the whole of bali?

I'm going to Bali for 3 weeks in June/July. I want to know where good places are to stay around Kuta, Gili islands/lombok and over the opposite side? We are looking cheap ish places with a budget of maybe $50 per night in kuta (or around there tuban/legian etc), $100 per night for the opposite side and $150-$200 a night on the gili islands. Any tips or must see places??
