caribbean destination for families?
My family is planning on taking a vacation this spring, and i'd really like to go to the caribbean or somewhere in mexico but my mom doesn't really favor that idea. I'd like to go snorkeling and scuba diving and lay on the beach but that isn't her idea of a good vacation. My mom, dad, and brother would like other activities, places to go, and things to do besides just swimming and laying on the beach...any suggestions on places to go ( in the caribbean or mexico) that would be fun for the whole family? i'm 18 and my brother is 16 so nothing specifically for little kids.
Playa del Carmen Mexico has everything you mentioned. You can take the ferry to Cozumel and snorkel on the Palancar Reef and travel around the island.
There are several eco water parks in the area (see links below) Xcaret even has a zip line.
You can visit the ancient mayan ruins of Tulum
Or you can just hang by the pool or on the beach. You will love it!
