California is the best / surrf?
Dude i have traveled far from california and checked out so many other surf spots and well i lllllloooovee so many of them especially costa rica/ bali/ brazil...but dude i just realized that growing up surfing in california and going to high school meets and all, surfing with my buddies till dark, there is just no other feeling... i mean i only get it when i am surfing newps or trestles...
ahh sorry i am just living abroad right now and was missing cali.
Does any one else feel this way.
And do not get me wrong.. i love traveling and the excitment/ or i would not be doing it
Boy I do know how you feel. I grew up in Huntington Beach and have very fond memories of surfing with my bros until dark in the summers. I lived in HB until the early 80s when I moved to Maryland. I miss it so much I still can't keep away and make several trips home every year. I have now surfed all over the world and found many great places the past 50 years, but I still like HB the best. I retire soon and yep, I'm heading back. Some things just can't compare.
